DECATUR, IL… This past spring and into the summer, State Representative Regan Deering (R-Decatur) has made rounds in the 88th District, delivering diapers and wipes to area resource centers, following a diaper drive she held at the end of April, with the Macon County Farm Bureau.
“I am so grateful to everyone in the 88th District who came out and donated diapers and wipes to help support families in our community,” said Rep. Deering. “As a proud pro-life and pro-family legislator, I believe that supporting mothers doesn’t end at birth. Community initiatives like this show moms and families that they are not alone, and that our district will show up for them. I want to thank the Macon County Farm Bureau for their continued partnership, and everyone who gave generously to make this donation possible. I am so proud of our community.”
Thanks to the generosity of constituents in the 88th District, over one-hundred boxes of diapers and wipes were donated and delivered to various resources centers that specialize in helping women and children.
Some of the places that Deering delivered to included DOVE in Clinton, New Life Pregnancy Center in Decatur, and the Pregnancy Resource Center in Bloomington. Deering is scheduled to visit more area resource centers this summer.
