DECATUR, IL… State Representative Regan Deering (R-Decatur) is hosting a FREE Shred Event and Diaper Drive in collaboration with the Macon County Farm Bureau in Decatur on Tuesday, April 28th. The event will take place in the Farm Bureau’s parking lot, entering west Pershing Road, and proceeding around to the north end of the lot, located at 1150 W. Pershing Rd., Ste. C in Decatur from 10 a.m. until noon.
“I am encouraging all constituents in the 88th District to take advantage of this opportunity to dispose of confidential documents for FREE,” said Rep. Deering. “I also hope you will bring a package of diapers and wipes to donate to area pregnancy resource centers. I am grateful to the Macon County Farm Bureau for their partnership on this event.”
The drive-thru event has a five-box limit per vehicle. No plastic, glass, trash, or non-paper contaminants are allowed. Please note the event will run until noon or once the truck is at capacity. Donations of diapers and wipes will also be accepted at the event but are not required to utilize the shred service. Brochures on state and local government programs will be available.
