DECATUR, IL… State Representative Regan Deering (R-Decatur) is hosting another Mobile DMV event with the Illinois Secretary of State’s office on Thursday, March 5th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Heyworth Public Library, located at 119 E. Main St., in Heyworth.
“I am thrilled to host another event with the Illinois Secretary of State’s office,” began Rep. Deering. “At the December event, 36 people were able to receive the assistance they needed from the Secretary of State. I am looking forward to partnering again to provide a simple and accessible way for constituents in rural areas to access the services they need.”
At the event, the following services will be available:
- Renewal/Correction of driver’s license
- New/Renewal/Correction of State ID
- Vehicle sticker sales
- Organ/tissue donor information and registration
- Motor voter registration
- Real ID applications
Driver’s tests will not be administered. Seniors aged 78 and older must visit a DMV to renew their driver’s license. All payments must be made by personal checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover debit or credit cards. No cash is accepted.
Anyone participating in the event must show acceptable forms of identification. Those requirements may be found by visiting the Secretary of State’s website, www.ilsos.gov.
