Pritzker Promised Affordability, Delivers New Taxes

Gov. Pritzker’s promise of affordability is a sham as Illinoisans get hit with $800 million in new taxes that are now scheduled to take effect today, July 1. Real effort towards making Illinois an affordable place to live is putting a stop to this perpetual tax-and-spend cycle, giving families the much-needed relief they deserve.
