Deering: HR 177 Remains in Rules

I stood up and fought for the farmers, agribusiness, and rural communities of central Illinois. I filed HR 177 in early March. The resolution seeks to move the U.S. Department of Agriculture from Washington D.C. to central Illinois.

Rather than being based in the swamp of Washington, D.C., the department should be in the heartland of the United States.

Unfortunately, the resolution remains in Rules and has not been called.
