DECATUR, IL… State Representative Regan Deering and State Senator Sally Turner (R-Beason) are announcing a FREE Medicare 101 Seminar they are hosting with the Illinois Department on Aging’s Senior Health Insurance Program (SHIP) and are encouraging those with Medicare questions to attend.
The event will take place on Thursday, October 15 at Kirby Medical Center, in the Community Outreach Room near the cafe, located at 1000 Medical Center Drive in Monticello from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
“I am excited to partner with Sen. Turner and the Department on Aging’s SHIP to offer such an informational event,” said Rep. Deering. “Making changes to existing Medicare plans or enrolling for the first time can be complicated, so I hope anyone who has questions will take advantage of this free event.”
“Medicare can be difficult to navigate on your own, especially for those enrolling for the first time,” said Senator Sally Turner. “This seminar is a great opportunity to sit down with experts, ask questions, and better understand all the options available. I encourage anyone with questions about Medicare to join us in Monticello and take advantage of this free opportunity.”
The free seminar is open to anyone wanting to learn more about Medicare. Pre-registration is not required but is encouraged as space is limited.
