Illinois cannot afford to sit on the sidelines while other states capture resources, innovation, and momentum in education. As a former teacher and owner of a tutoring company, I have seen firsthand just how far behind Illinois schools are, failing to provide many of our students with the best education possible, while we continue to outspend our neighboring states per pupil, year after year. Families deserve to have access to funds to supplement their child’s education.
We have a chance to restore and expand choice, and that time is now. We need to pressure the Governor to opt-in for Illinois.
